Thomas Williford

Thomas Williford, a sophmore at Collins Hill High School in Swanee will be featured in Recital at First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, GA. Thomas serves as a church choir accompanist and plays piano in the school orchestra and jazz band. In December 2006, Thomas was featured in concert at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on the famous Mighty "Mo" pipe organ. He is currently a student of Dr. Graham Purkerson, organist at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Dunwoody. Admission to the Recital is free.

Rodney presented at both the 2000 and 2004 National Conventions of the American Guild of Organists on the topic of “MIDI and Orchestral Use of the Organ in Worship." Aram Basmadjian performed in Concert on the new Three Manual Allen Quantum organ at Saint Benedict’s Episcopal Church, Smyrna on April 18, 2010 at 2 PM. Aram is one of the most accomplished young organ virtuosos in America. He provides diverse programs that has won acclaim from audiences and critics alike for being musically appropriate for all audiences. Aram has several recordings, and continues his career as a touring concert artist. He performs concerts in over 50 cities each year throughout the United States. Many of these concerts utilize his four manual Allen touring organ.

Allen Organ Studios will host Organist Nicholas Bowden at Virginia Highland Church, Atlanta on Saturday, June 19th at 8 PM. The Three Manual 64 Stop French Specification is spectacular in this wonderful acoustic space.

Nicholas Bowden, enjoys a national reputation as a church musician and entertainer. His energetic performances coupled with a unique sense of humor bring a fresh light to the world of organ music. Nick is Senior Organist at Atlanta's 10,000 member Peachtree Presbyterian Church, the largest Presbyterian Church in the United States; a position he has held since 1993. His Nicholas Bowden and Friends Concerts draw thousands of music lovers to Peachtree Presbyterian twice yearly, and include with the organ a wide variety of singers, choirs, and instrumentalists. Mr. Bowden has performed in venues across the United States and in Europe as both an organ soloist and conductor. He has appeared on a number of television specials over the years from local Atlanta stations to Diane Bish's The Joy of Music which is broadcast the world over. Nick attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia where he was a student of Dr. Robert Parris. Immediately following his time at Mercer, he became Associate Organist at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale where he served until 1991. Mr. Bowden travels extensively, has a great love of politics and architecture, but his true passion has been and remains - people.

Jubalheirs

 

The Jubalheirs will be performing at First Baptist Church, Helen on Friday, October 15th at 7:30 PM. Jubalheirs is a choir made up of women who serve in various capacities in music ministry. Founded in 1973, Jubalheirs presents concerts under the direction of Dr. Jon Duncan. Like Sons of Jubal, Jubalheirs is also a music and missions organization with a history of many projects over the years. Their most recent project was a mission project in Moldova, where lives were touched, and Christ was shared through songs and testimony.
